ASICS Men's GT-2150 Running Shoe
People ask me which shoes I wear. A shoe review comes down to this: what works. You know the adage, "If the shoe fits, wear it." Runners expect more than just a good fit, but it starts there.
For the last several years, I have been a happy wearer of the GT-21## line of ASICS shoes. This year (2010 through 2011), it is the 2150s.
Why? The quality of the shoe is the simple answer. It fits well, and manages my pronation adequately. I'm a lighter runner at 140 lbs, and my pronation is minimal, but, it gives me the exact support I need. I use it both for training and racing on all surfaces -- from a college track to grass to sidewalk and road.
As I get fitter and my racing becomes more constant, I will invest in racing flats, but for now, this is what I need.
I fully recommend the GT-2150 running shoe by ASICS.
